Shibori Honeycomb Rayon Shrug in Blue 007

When you need just a little something when the weather turns cool but you want it to be stylish and well made, this shrug is for you. 

We dye each one by hand twice to get the background color and then again using a shibori technique that results in a unique honeycomb design in two colors. No two will ever be exactly alike because we don’t mass produce or leave the sewing or dyeing to others. We do it all in our studio in Waimea on the big island. We’re proud of our work and want you to know our quality is top notch. 

This shrug is sewn into a tube. Slip an arm in each end and make sure the tag is in the center at the base of your neck.  So easy!  One size fits most. They are 45" wide and 28" long.   This one has a tie in the front to keep it on when its windy.

NOTE: Each one of these blue shrugs will be a slightly different pattern and shade and some may have some blue, gray, brown or pinkish brown color in the pattern 

Dyeing is full of surprises and blacks and browns in particular are created by using lots of different colors and sometime one of the colors wants to dominate. That’s part of the fun of hand dyed.
